Part 2. The animation. (See Part 1 for the poster image)
An empty pool and a lone skateboard flies into the blue sky and then something something happens to the board...
Exploring the balloon idea, I decided against it since if the board and wheels puff out, what happens to the trucks and other parts?
But it could be cool to do some sort of an airbag safety feature for your board!
A couple of quick and dirty inflating simulations led me to bake them and do a controlled inflation with Pose Morphs. And baked that into an alembic and sped that up as well.
A bit wonky airbag but it is based on the form of the board.

A couple of keyframes to make it fly up, fall down, stop and softly float away.
More designs involved to make some new logos and graphics for the airbag feature "DynaFLOAT76" and "HECATON INDUSTRIES".
